Been off doing something exciting...

Hello... Sorry I have not been around.
I have been diverting from card craft to a new business plan.

This involves my partners illustrations that he created over 4 years ago. We have been playing around with ideas of what to do with them.
They are cute and know will find a place in the market.

We are starting a Kick Starter project to try and raise funds to lift this project off the ground with products, children's books and giftware.

Kick Starter is a community based place where people pledge, in return for a product you will be making. Therefore they will be getting something first before anyone else and before it completely lifts off the ground.

This means having to tweet (not my thing) set up a new Facebook page and really try every avenue to promote it.
As yet we are waiting to be accepted by them... it's like waiting for Christmas!!

But here is my twitter account

new Facebook page for it

I do have a new blog on wordpress but as yet need to get my head around it all.

The new concept is called 'On Stalks' and here is a photo of what our mugs will look like.

We will also be bringing out Christmas ones, if we are lucky enough to reach our target and second stage target.

My love for strawberries

Well another day that has just flown by. But still have time to post a little card I created for Clean and Simple

Over on their blog they have a sketch for you to get inspired by.
I used stamping Up stamps and dotty paper.
Coloured the strawberries in two colours with pens.

Here is their sketch...

And here is my card using the sketch...

Halloween

I was looking round for challenges and found this one

They are asking you to create something which has a Halloween feel.

I have used these cute stamps that I have not used in a long time.
Love them to bits.

The costume shop has foam pads on it, just to raise it slightly from the line of merry Trick or Treaters.
The children dressed up look so cute as they are that I just added minimal colours. The ghost ones do have a touch of sparkle on them though.

A circle was punched in top right corner so that the spider, that i stamped inside, could be seen.

Fancy a cuppa..

Well here we are again. Trying to sort out bits and pieces with my craft stash and even selling some of it off as making room in my space to concentrate on my work.
So onto next challenge I have had a go at.

Less Is More is all about beverages this week.
So I have made a 4x4 card with my coffee cup stamp. Paper piecing for the cup and colouring the rest with copic pens. The hearts and steam from the cup have had glossy accents added.

More Cupcake Fun.. with Daring Card Makers

Hello. The time is just flying past and I know I miss some challenges.
So let's get the ball rolling and have a challenge from Daring Card Makers where this week is food glorious food.
I know I made a cupcake card for them last week but this week i tried to challenge myself to do something different.

I stamped and coloured with copic pens, then stamped on pattern paper for the cupcake case. Punched small flowers and a big blob of glossy accents for the cherry.
Cut out popped on 3d foam pads and attached ribbon to the card.

Just add ribbon.

Another card, another challenge and the car stamp again.
The Ribbon Girl has challenged you to add some ribbon to your card this week.

My card is a wedding invitation. It has 2 ribbon colours in organza ribbon. The car image is raised with foam pads.

It's a clean and Simple card with pearlised card as the matting.

New Home

AAACards have a sketch for you to use and enjoy.
I love this blog challenge you never know what they are going to come up with next.

Here is their sketch..

Simple sketch which I really had to think about. But here is my take on it with my house image that I designed. Single pattern paper layer and the image printed and cut on white card.
